Bermuda Beaches, Beaches, Beaches Bermuda is a kaleidoscope of pink beaches, blue-green ocean and patchwork isles. It is a cyclists dream. Tourists are not allowed to drive cars and the traffic is slow. The landscape is a gently rolling countryside with sweeping seascapes at every new turn in the road. A gentle mixture of England and the tropics. Three different hotels will pamper you during your bicycle journey: A European style spa built on a coral reef, a uniquely Bermudian cottage colony spread on landscaped grounds and a luxurious tennis club - all located on the water's edge with private beaches and all water sports. Golf courses are never more than a few miles away. Day 1 - Take an early flight. After lunch we'll enjoy an afternoon of cycling en route to St Davids lighthouse stopping at the 17th century Carter House along the way. Visit St Georges, the second oldest English town in the western hemisphere. Home to the oldest Anglican church in the new world. Returning to your hotel you may soak-up some sun on private beaches, enjoy the pool, play tennis, golf, water ski, snorkel Para-sail or take a cruise around Castle Harbor. This evening we'll enjoy our "Get Acquainted" reception and dinner. Day 2 - Take a wake-up swim. Then cycle to the Bermudan Perfumery and Garden for a tour. Keep the sea on your right as you cycle to the Bermuda Aquarium to see what's under those waves. Follow the seaside road to Spanish Point and Hamilton, Bermudas beautiful capital, a charming latticework of pastel houses and tropical flowers. Take the south road past Coral Beach and Eastwhale Bay to the Sonesta Beach Hotel and Spa rising from the reefs on the oceans edge. Enjoy a sumptuous starlit dinner then walk the beach by moonlight. Day 3 - This is a day of adventure at its fullest as you climb Gibbs Hill lighthouse for sweeping sea views. Cross the world's smallest drawbridge, then pedal across four islands to the Royal Navy Dockyard. Spend the night at the luxurious Lantana Colony Club, its immaculate grounds dotted with sculptures and a world-class croquet lawn. Day 4 - Hike and cycle the area dedicated to these activities as you explore the old railroad bed, now a nature conservancy. You will see, as the railway passengers of yesteryear, stunning seascapes, breathtaking scenery, and exotic flora. Enjoy afternoon tea at St George's, and then spend the rest of your lazy afternoon sailing or just sizzling in the sun! Day 5 - Pack your memories for a late afternoon flight home. Then settle in to enjoy the water sports of the Grotto Beach Hotel or take a short ride to St Georges before departing this little-bit-o'paradise.
