Natural Swiss Spas

Cycle by Day and Spa by Night

An exciting trip combining great cycling, culture, natural thermal baths, exclusive resorts such as Zermatt and Chamonix and fine cuisine and wines!

This exciting cycling holiday takes you through the heart of the Valais state in the Swiss Alps, otherwise known as the sunniest state in Switzerland.

Powerful in stature and breathtaking in beauty, the tour passes by majestic glaciers, snow capped peaks including the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc, naturally heated thermal baths between the luxurious hotels and stunning scenery. Starting high up the valley, the route winds its way along the Rhone river and through the vineyards to Lake Geneva. The ample supply of cable cars and gondolas en route will take you higher in the valley for closer view of the spectacular peaks on the Active Free Days.

Untitled-3.jpg (19739 bytes)This cycling trip follows the Rhone river’s course from it’s birth high up  in the mighty glaciers of Switzerland then meanders and serves as a lifeline to pastures, farmers fields, many vineyards and small towns before finishing near Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva.. Start your bicycle ride in the charming village of Munster at 1350 m (4500ft). It’s a gentle downhill ride from Munster to Morel where the valley is dotted with houses that boast flower-filled window boxes. In Morel the valley narrows considerably adding to the dramatic alpine scenery. You will cycle past Brig and Visp, where you may want to visit their respective castles or the ancient villages of Raron and Turtmann on the way to Morel. Then, the castles of Sion encourage you uphill to the town of Savièse. Continuing through the vineyards, you will encounter a welcome downhill run to the lovely town of Fully, passing by the natural thermal baths of Saillon. An exciting trip combining great cycling, culture, natural thermal baths and fine cuisine and wines!
