SELF-GUIDED BICYCLE TOUR SPAIN-MAJORCA

Island Cycling

....in the Mediterranean Sea

Seaside on the Mediterranean on Majorca

Majorca -

Cycling in the Med with Sun, Sand & Sea

A well-known island with 2000 years of history

"La Luminosa" - "the inspired", as the Spaniards call the biggest of the Balearic Islands. Majorca actually radiates such beauty that hardly anyone can resist its charms. In this tour, there is not only sun, sand and sea in the centre of attention but also the unknown appeals of this island: the beauty of the Majorcan nature as well as the monuments of a chequered 2000-year-old history. Everybody believes he "knows" Majorca - the famous island. You will be astonished how many secret places remain to be discovered. Off the beaten track, through sun-drenched and unspoilt nature, along steep rocks with a vista to dreamy little bays with clear blue-green water. Submit to the charm of Majorca. Listen to the whisper of wind in the grass, to the song of cicadas and the silent turning of the wind wheels. Up and down you cycle through the ever varying landscape. Coast and inner country both offer different attractions and you will see them all. Visit the dragon caves of Porto Cristo, the bizarre and fantastic creations of nature. Romantic evenings in picturesque fisher villages and on shimmering salt lakes. Of course bathing also belongs to Majorca -without the necessity to hire a spot for hours in advance. "La Luminosa -the Enlightened" Majorca is called by Spaniards and she waits for you.
