From here a side trip leads you to a higher, calm valley of the Rhine area to the Eberbach Convent, founded in 1136 and was the film location of the movie "The Name of the Rose". Then you will reach the most well known wine town of the world: Rudesheim. The "Drosselgasse" with its numerous wine bars is exemplary of the fun loving spirit of the region.
