This tour will bring you at the meeting of Romanesque architecture, gothic and baroque, some artistic treasure of museum, some forest, some mediaeval cities and especially the most beautiful village of Alsace, sparkling under the sun.
Tour Profile: A bike tour for everyone, level: Easy. The circuit travels along the wine route and the region to the north of Strasbourg. 80% of the stages are on cycle tracks and the rest on low traffic roads.

The Itinerary:
Day 1 - Strasbourg Arrival in Strasbourg, settling into the hotel and free-time to explore the town. We advise you to visit the cathedral, the council of Europe and picturesque quarter like "little France". Day 2 - Strasbourg to Obernai (40 km/25mi) At Rosheim, the Alsatian Romanesque art is blooming. You'll visit historic cities of Molsheim and Obernai. Day 3 - Obernai to Saverne (45 km/28mi) Marmoutier possess an antique abbey with her wonderful occidental facade by Irish monks. Our tour goes through the Vosges as far as Saverne. Day 4 - Saverne to Ingwiller (45 km/28mi) This journey will bring you through the Northern Vosges Regional Reserve which possess of an architectural richness by traditional villages. The tour will allow you to discover Neuwiller-les-Saverne abbey in the heart of the little valley and the forest. Arrival in Ingwiller Day 5 - Ingwiller to Strasbourg ( 67 km/42 mi))You'll join the Marne canal to the Rhin by some picturesque villages of "Hanau Region" and you will arrive in Strasbourg. However, should any breakdown occur that prevents the completion of the days journey we will make repairs on the road. A phone number will be provided. All other types of necessary repairs that do not make cycling impossible will be repaired at the hotel each night.
