Four Countries, Three Lakes Tour

Swiss Impressions

SWITZERLAND - LIECHTENSTEIN - AUSTRIA - GERMANY

THREE LAKES:   ZURICHSEE - WATENSEE - BODENSEE

This tour combines the best of all tours: Incredible mountain scenery, riverside cycling through wine country, biking along the beaches and lakeside towns of three beautiful blue lakes, medieval timbered villages, castles along the Rhine. Cycle through four German speaking countries and enjoy the hospitality and good food, wine and beers they are famous for.

Tour Profile: Please note that on the approach to Zurich and on the distance Zurich-Rapperswil you have to be alert to motor traffic, because the cycle track runs along the road. Individual sections of the cycle paths at the Walen lake are closed on weekend for cyclists, that's why you must change over for short distances to the wheel strips at the road. You have also the possibility of covering the appropriate distances by ship. The navigation enterprises of Lake Zurich and the Walen lake carry also bicycles, if the extent of utilization permits it.
