SEASONAL DISCOUNT PROGRAM

Certain times of the year are busier than others and boats can become scarce. Other times are relatively lighter in boat rental demand resulting in a surplus of boats. In order to attain some semblance of balance and motivate travelers to travel in the low seasons of the year (when really, it is much more pleasant because of less canal traffic) we occasionally offer special discounts to our clients. So check in here from time to time for the current deals.

The Current Savings Attractions*:

Seasonal Discounts:

Special offer for Lovers:

15% discount for any bookings of the Estivale Duo during all of the 2009 season (except in the month of August and in the Bouzies region of France) The offer includes all other ports in France, Germany and Portugal.

Spring Discounts:

10% discount for all new bookings of 1 week or more and a 7% discount for all new bookings of mid-week or week-end for cruises between March 21 until April 25 2009. Valid for all bases.

Portugal Cruises : Open all year round !                 

  • Low Season Discount- From November 2008 to end of March 2009 the   "Green" Price  less 5% applies.    

  • Summer Discount - From the 1st to the 31st of July the  "Yellow Price" applies.

All discounts will be deducted from the pricing chart shown below

  • 10% off of your second and following weeks

  • 5% off for 2 boats or more

  • Special discount for a couple on a N900 and N1000 = 10%

  • Family discount 5% all boats for a 1 week or longer cruise

  • These offers may be combined up till a 15% maximum discount

*The above discounts apply to the boat rental only and are available only if the reservation is made within the dates specified as valid. They are not cumulative with other discounts. The final price of the boat is the price available at the time of reservation. Discounts are not retroactive.

PRICING PERIODS BY SEASON

A Period: GREEN - 21 March to 24 April &  19 Sept to 1 Nov

B Period: BLUE - 25 April to 26 June & 29 August to 18 Sept

C Period: YELLOW - 27 June to 10 July & 22 to 28 August

D Period: RED - 11 July to 21 August

Rental Periods and Extra Charges:

Week: Departure from 4 to 6 pm return between 8 and 9am

Mini Week: From Monday 2 pm to Friday 9 am or from Tuesday 2 pm to Saturday 9 am

Weekend: From Friday 4 pm to Sunday 5 pm

Pool Optional: Available only for "N" series of boats     (except N 800). A permit is required to rent a pool on N1300, N1310, N1350, and N1350VIP models.

One week = 7 nights. Where your holiday overlaps two seasonal periods, the price is calculated according to the number of days falling in each period.

The River Lot (Departure from Bouzies): A shorter season, inclement river conditions and additional supervision cause prices for this region  to be slightly higher than in others. There is a $150 supplement per boat.

Portugal Cruises : Open all year round :                 

Low Season Discount- From November 2008 to end of March 2009 the   "Green" Price  less 5% applies.    Summer Discount - From the 1st to the 31st of July the  "Yellow Price" applies.

One Way Cruises: One way cruises may be subject to unforeseen circumstances which can impede their operation. A one way cruise as well as its direction are only confirmed 48 hours before departure

Week: Departure between 4 and 6 pm return between 8 and 9 am

Mini Week: From Monday 2 pm to Friday 9 am or from Tuesday 2 pm to Saturday 9 am

Weekend: From Friday 4 pm to Sunday 5 pm

Lubz & Lychen (Germany): There is a $115 charge per booking for the boats with the stem propeller

During the A period (green), B period (blue) and C period (Yellow), you can rent your boat for a week-end or mid-week.
In that case, the rental price is the following :

Weekend 2 days 50% of the week price From Friday 4 pm to Sunday 5 pm
Weekend 3 days 70% of the week price Weekend 2 days + 1 day before or after
Weekend 4 days 80% of the week price Weekend 3 days + 1 day before or after
Weekend 5 days 85% of the week price Weekend 4 days + 1 day before or after
Mid-week 62% of the week price From Mon. 2 pm to Fri. 9 am, or from Tue. 2 pm to Sat. 9 am

ALL EXTRAS PRICED BELOW ARE IN US $ and Euros €

(Dollar prices shown are estimates based on $1.65 per Euro - US Dollar rates subject to change with exchange rate change.)

Extras: (All charges listed below are payable at base port in Euros)

  • Bike hire: $50/€ 30 per week payable at the base

  • Car park/Garage: From $35 to $75/€ 20 to € 45  per week payable at the base

  • Pets: $50/€ 30  payable at the base

  • One-way supplement: One week $185/€ 110. This does not include transfers of vehicles or passengers

  • Supplement in Germany for boats equipped with rear propeller = $115

  • Supplement on river Lot = $150

  • Charts = $35/€ 20 per region. Charts can be ordered at the time of reservation for delivery prior to departure.

  • Charge for final cleaning = $250/€ 150 (This charge can be avoided if boat is returned in clean condition.)

  • Deposit: 900€  per boat (except N800 & N750 = 700€) and 150€  for cleaning deposit. It covers the insurance franchise, loss of hire and boat cleaning if this has not been done. This sum will be repaid to you at the end of your cruise if the boat and its equipment are brought back clean, in good condition and undamaged, at the time and place agreed on.

  • Insurance is described more fully in our general rental conditions, please ask for the application form.

  • Consumable Forfeit: All of the consumables (oils, diesel oil, gas...) used during your stay are included in this forfeit. When you set off the tank will have been filled, giving you self sufficiency for 10 to 14 days (depending on the type of boat). All our cruisers are fitted with a meter which is read on your departure and on your return. The number of hours of engine fuel use will be invoiced according go the rate displayed at the bas (More or less 20€  to 40€ per day)

  • Fuel, gas and other consumables will be charged to the hirer at the relevant hourly rate (more or less 20 to 40 euros per day).

  • Insurance (Optional: Cost is according to the policy chosen - form on request)

  • Navigation maps

  • Final cleaning

  • Security deposit

  • Extra charge for pets
